Being — Dark

An individual, powerful Highborn. Conducted secret works in darkness. Believed Lightmere could be perfected under his guidance. His corruption began with the quiet revolt and was completed when the Scorching drove his spirit into Deepmere, where he became Umbra — the darkness that now resides within the earth.

Led dissonance and insurrection during Eyru's absence.

He sought to seize authority in the absence of the creator rather than overthrow Eyru directly. The act is later remembered as a coup attempted in silence, not open war.

What Nova Became

Nova's corruption had already begun during his insurrection — darkness seeping into him as he worked to perfect Lightmere through shadow. His rebellious works accelerated the spreading corruption that would become The Fall. When Eyru returned and unleashed the Scorching in response to finding this corruption, the furious TrueLight completed Nova's transformation. His physical form was destroyed, burned away to pure spirit. That spirit, seeking to survive, was driven deep into Deepmere by the overwhelming light.

He survived, but not in any form that would be recognized as Nova. He had become Umbra.
