A vast body of water bordering Farshadow, only a short walk from the settlement. The Great Ocean is immense, stretching beyond sight, and carries its own dangers. Darkness rises easily over open water where no fire burns.

The ocean's presence shaped Farshadow's development — the Order of Tides governs fishing, navigation, and waterborne knowledge drawn from its waters. The cliffs and coastline near Farshadow are a defining feature of the landscape.

The Great Ocean is referenced in song as both a boundary and a mystery — something the Kinsfolk chose to watch rather than cross.
